VASCO data security
F.G. Cornelis studied Physics and Astronomy in Utrecht from 1973 till 1982.
From the experience in data acquisition in telescope guiding system he worked 2 years for a team in ESTEC, Noordwijk, the Netherlands. This work consisted out of designing and implemeting software in Forth.
In 1986 he joined a team of Forth programmers who supported Matsushita in Osaka in making a handheld 8088 computer. In the nineties the teams focus shifted to programming multifunction telephones (directory lookup for the dutch telephone, payment systems for Belgacom in Belgium) and from that the expertise moved to payment systems and data security.
Currently he is employed at VASCO data security, the leading company in authentication.
He is married, the father of 2 boys and a girl, and lives in Houten, the Netherlands.
