Problem Collection for BelarusHistory and SystemThe first Belarusian MO was held in 1951, when the country was a part of Soviet Union. The olympiad is organized in four stages, each stage being divided into four categories, so called D,C,B,A (corresponding to 8-th, 9-th, 10-th, 11-th grade, respectively). The final round takes place at early spring and consists of 8 peoblems for each category.Belarus at International CompetitionsBelarus, a member of Soviet Union until 1991, has participated at IMO independently since 1993. Its best success at an IMO was the 6-th place in 1999. The IMO team is chosen through the national MO and a number of selection exams.ProblemsThe total number of available problems is 232.
