Harry Reimann obtained a doctorate in mathematics at Akademie der Wissenschaften der DDR in 1986.
The title of the thesis was:
Gute Reduktionen von zu Quaternionenalgebren assoziierten Shimuramannigfaltigkeiten.
The thesis supervisor was Herbert Kurke.
